Chalet Chef

As a chalet chef you will work in one of our beautiful chalets alongside a chalet host. You will be passionate about food, with relevant experience gained in either a chalet, restaurant, villa or yacht setting. We pride ourselves on providing excellent quality catering in our Meribel chalets and you would be able to create interesting and delicous breakfasts, cakes and dinners 5 days a week. You will also be responsible for helping with the chalet cleaning, not just the kitchen but also communal areas, and helping out with the weekly changeover of the chalet. We work as a team in the chalets and share responsibilities in order to provide the best service for our guests.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Preparing continental and cooked breakfast on 5 mornings

  • Baking afternoon tea cakes 

  • Preparing 4 course dinner on 5 nights

  • Assisting with the daily cleaning of the chalet

  • Assisting with the weekly changeover of the chalet

  • Hosting our guests and making them feel welcome

  • Weekly shopping trip

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Excellent cooking skills 

  • Proven experience cooking in either chalets, restaurants, villas or yachts

  • Passionate about food and a keen interest in creating varied and delicious menus

  • Good eye for detail and ability to present food in an attractive manner

  • Organised and able to work tidily

  • Hard working and adaptable

  • Team player

  • Mature attitude

  • Friendly and outgoing

  • A mountain lover
