Alpine Ethos is a small, privately owned, dynamic chalet company based in Méribel. We’ve just acquired a further 3 luxury chalets adding to our expanding portfolio of quality accommodation in one of the biggest and best skiing locations in the world.

We are now recruiting our team for 22-23 season. 

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced chalet hosts with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service. This season we are proud to have received a Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice award and a feefo rating of 4.9/5 which reflects our guests appreciation of our outstanding service which can only be achieved by a great team.

As a chalet host you will work alongside a chalet chef running one of our alpine chalets. You will be responsible for ‘front of house’ and housekeeping with previous relevant experience. 



You will be required to -

  • serve meals and drinks in a professional manner

  • assist the chef with prep, plating up etc as required 

  • clean daily - bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas

  • carry out a more thorough clean on changeover day

  • change sheets and towels on changeover day

  • organise sending/receiving linen to/from commercial laundry

  • maintain stocks of consumable items - cleaning materials, toilet rolls, firewood etc

  • lay, manage and clean log burner/fire if applicable 

  • maintain hygiene and health and safety standards


You will be -

  • able to show proven relevant experience in chalets, restaurants, yachts, events catering

  • meticulous about cleanliness 

  • outgoing, self confident, conscientious and highly organised

  • be mature and responsible
