DRIVER/ASSISTANTS

 

Alpine Ethos is a small, privately owned, dynamic chalet company based in Méribel and La Tania

​

We are now recruiting our team for 23-24 season. 

​

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced drivers/assistants with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service. We are proud to have received a Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice award and a Feefo Gold Service Award, as well as a rating of 4.8/5 which reflects our guests appreciation of our outstanding service which can only be achieved by a great team.

The Job 

​

  • providing a professional minibus service for our guests from their chalet to the main lift hub in Méribel after breakfast and pick up in the afternoon - all guest transport is within Méribel, no airport transfers

  • driving team members to/from our staff chalet and their guests chalet in Méribel 

  • transporting supplies to chalets

  • assisting with weekly shopping trip to Moutiers/Albertville

  • clearing away breakfast and cleaning the kitchen in the chalets on the chalet hosts days off

  • helping hosts with general chalet cleaning and bed-making on changeover day

  • daily cleanliness check of minibuses, weekly garage power wash and refuelling 

 

Requirements 

​

  • at least 23 years old for insurance

  • minimum of 5 years driving experience 

  • full, clean licence

  • experience of driving 6 metre vans / 9 seat minibuses 

  • experience of driving in winter conditions including snow and ice

  • previously worked in a customer facing hospitality rôle

  • excellent time management skills

  • good standard of spoken English

Note - we are also recruiting chalet hosts and chefs so will consider joint applications where one of you will be a driver and the other a host or chef. We have twin and double bedrooms at our staff chalet so can accommodate couples and singles.
