There is no better way to celebrate Christmas than in the snowy white mountains!
At all of our Alpine Ethos chalets we will go out of our way to ensure you have a magical Christmas holiday.
After a full day of skiing on Christmas Eve, return to a roaring fire, mulled wine and mince pies and Christmas cake.
Wake on Christmas day to a delicious scrambled egg and smoked salmon breakfast with bucks fizz, then head out on the slopes to enjoy a full day of skiing.
Return to the chalet for champagne and canapes by the fire, followed by a scrumptious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding and cheese board.
Meribel has a great week of Christmas celebrations for you to enjoy….
On Christmas Eve, Santa Claus will be passing through Méribel, but instead of reindeer, he’ll have horses to draw his sled. Why not come and meet him!
Santa Claus will arrive in Méribel with a fairy-tale parade of a dozen creatures called “the gifts” belonging to Mademoiselle Paillette’s troupe - waders, acrobats and circus performers will surround his carriage on la Montée de la Chaudanne.
A small jazz band will await them in Méribel’s central square, playing Christmas songs in New Orleans style. Here, the elves will welcome Father Christmas and install him on his 'throne', where children can join him for photos.
Then join in with the traditional Christmas Carols which will ring out in front of Méribel Tourist Office to “Wish you a Merry Christmas”!
There will be hot drinks and chocolates for everyone...
On Christmas Day, Santa Claus will depart Meribel with a torch lit descent which can be watched at the Chaudanne.
We still have some availability in Chalet La Petite Chapelle and Chalet St Joseph for the 22-29 December from just £600 per person, get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your Christmas Holiday.
