The Alpine Ethos Team
Meet Dan, Marie, JP, Silas, Luke and Ellie!
This week the Alpine Ethos team arrived in resort and are now well into their training. They are a fantastic team ,and can't wait to welcome their first guests. Over the next week they will be practising all of their lovely menus, so expect lots of lovely foodie pictures on our Instagram!
Resort Opening
The resort officially opened yesterday, and it is beginning to look great up on the mountain. The staff had their first day off today and have headed out on their skis, so we will update you with some lovely snowy photos soon.
Weather & Snow Forecast
The temperature has dropped dramatically over the last few days and there has been a good amount of snow falling with lots more due over the next week or so. The lifts opened yesterday and the pistes seem to be shaping up nicely. Here is a link to a nice snow forecast if you would like to have a look, there is a lot of snow on there!

Folie Douce Soft Opening
Saturday 15 December
Arguably the liveliest bar on the mountain, the Folie Douce opens it's doors on Saturday. Open every day from 9am - 5pm, head to the Folie Douce for a lively atmosphere and great views from the large terrace.
The Ski Touring French Championships
Saturday and Sunday 15/16 December
Head to Mottaret on Saturday or Sunday to witness some of the fittest, Lycra clad ski touring skiers you may ever see. There will be 2 races: the Verical Race on Saturday at 2.30pm, and the Club's Relay on Sunday at 10am. You can spectate for free at the side of the piste in Meribel Mottaret.
Ice Hockey Demonstration Match
Tuesday 18 December
The ice rink in the Olympic Centre in Meribel will host a demonstration ice hockey match. Expect a fast paced, exciting match. Wrap up warm and be there for kick off at 8pm. A great night out for all the family, Adults 5 euro, kids 3 euro.
