THE CHALET
Chalet Panda is a spacious and modern chalet nestled amongst the pine trees in the picture-perfect village of La Tania, Courchevel. The chalet has 6 en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 13 guests.
On the lower ground floor you’ll find a beautifully decorated open plan living and dining area complete with roaring log burning stove, leather sofas, armchairs and large TV, an ideal retreat for relaxing after a long day on the mountain. There is an additional TV and games room, perfect for children or teenagers. Alternatively, take a dip in the outdoor jacuzzi and immerse yourself in the tranquil snowy surroundings or unwind in the sauna.
On the first floor you will find two spacious bedrooms with private balconies. The twin offers an additional snug room, which can fit an extra child's bed and the double room offers a walk-in-wardrobe under the eaves. There are also two double en-suite bedrooms, a twin en-suite bedroom, and a bunk ensuite bedroom on the ground floor.
THE LOCATION
Chalet Panda is situated in an elevated location overlooking Courchevel La Tania and the mountains, set amongst pine trees in a quiet location. You can walk from the chalet to the blue Folyères piste (150m) from where you can ski down to the ski lifts in La Tania village. At the end of the day you can ski back to within 150m from the door of the chalet.
Local restaurants, bars and shops in the village are a 10 minute walk - allow a little longer to walk back on the return uphill walk.
La Tania is an attractive, small alpine village with traditional stone and wood chalets set amongst pines. Justifiably popular with skiers and boarders who appreciate a quieter resort and a relaxed atmosphere yet offering a full range of shops, restaurants and bars with regular live music sessions.
Access to the slopes is provided by the gondola which whisks you to an area from which you can ski back to the village via the roller coaster Folyères blue run through the forest, the wide Moretta Blanche red run or the new Plan Fontaine green run. You’re only two lifts away from skiing down to Courchevel 1850 or Méribel with access to the entire 3 Valleys.
Children aren’t forgotten as there’s a play park in the traffic free village centre and nearby nursery slopes with a free button lift. Crèche and nanny services are available in resort. For non skiing family members there are snow shoe walks, dog sledding, skidoo rides on the door step with paragliding, indoor climbing, ice skating, 10 pin bowling and the fabulous Aquamotion Centre just a short free bus ride away.
