The alpine ethos team
Now looking forward to my 15th winter in the Alps, I am a true mountain addict. Having taught myself to ski during a university climbing club trip to the Cairngorms, I was hooked and completed my first alpine season in Courchevel in 2004. I loved it and returned each season gaining experience in just about all roles - chalet host, chef, administrator, manager. Somehow I managed to find time to do my “real” job as a London based corporate lawyer during the summer months, however, the mountains always drew me back. In 2017 I decided to make the leap, bought my own small ski company and moved to live permanently in lovely Les Allues where you’ll find me hiking, biking, paragliding and, of course, skiing.
Having worked for 14 winters in the ski holiday industry, I have the knowledge and experience to offer a great ski package. Alpine Ethos is small enough to be flexible and I strive to provide the holiday that you want. .From your initial enquiry you’ll be dealing directly with me, not someone in a UK office. I’ll do my best to fulfil your personal requirements, whether it’s collecting you from the airport, arranging lift passes, ski and boot hire with fitting in chalet, taking you to and from the lifts in our minibuses, accommodating special dietary requirements. We can do it!
I fully appreciate the importance of having a fantastic and enthusiastic team, after all, it is the team who really make your holiday a great experience, which is why I pride myself on carefully selecting a team chosen for their proven experience in hospitality and catering.
At Alpine Ethos we aim to provide a relaxed, professional and personal service in affordable, comfortable surroundings. this is reflected in our great reviews on TripAdvisor, and I strive to keep up the good work!
I and the team, look forward to welcoming you to Méribel.
Katie is returning to Alpine Ethos again this winter with husband Dan. The couple have recently left their UK jobs to settle in France, and have been travelling all around Europe during the summer mpnths in their motor-home, and worked in Meribel last winter. Katie is very experienced in both management and customer service, having run her own successful B&B, so she will be a great asset to the team. Taking a well earned break from the rat race, Katie is really looking forward to spending another winter in the mountains. A really friendly, people person, Katie is really looking forward to ensuring our guests have the best ski holiday.

Dan and Katie are keen snowboarders and are looking forward to another winter of riding.
Chalet COOK - La Petite Chapelle
Susie is returning to Alpine Ethos this winter, after a fantastic season in Chalet La Petite Chapelle last winter. Suze has completed 3 winter seasons as a chalet host, in Meribel, Courchevel and Chatel, so she has great experience and a array of delicious recipes. She is a passionate cook and loves to try new recipes. Susie has co-founded her own women's ski wear brand, so she is your girl if you are looking for slope fashion advice! Susie also spends the summer in Meribel so she is a font of knowledge for all Meribel related questions. We can't wait to taste all her delicious food again this winter!
Jack & Finn, the Alpine Ethos mutts. Chalet visits can be arranged if you are missing your own pooches while on holiday!
