The alpine ethos team
Now looking forward to my 14th winter in the Alps, I am a true mountain addict. Having taught myself to ski during a university climbing club trip to the Cairngorms, I was hooked and completed my first alpine season in Courchevel in 2004. I loved it and returned each season gaining experience in just about all roles - chalet host, chef, administrator, manager. Somehow I managed to find time to do my “real” job as a London based corporate lawyer during the summer months, however, the mountains always drew me back. In 2017 I decided to make the leap, bought my own small ski company and moved to live permanently in lovely Les Allues where you’ll find me hiking, biking, paragliding and, of course, skiing.
Having worked for 13 winters in the ski holiday industry, I have the knowledge and experience to offer a great ski package. Alpine Ethos is small enough to be flexible and I strive to provide the holiday that you want. .From your initial enquiry you’ll be dealing directly with me, not someone in a UK office. I’ll do my best to fulfil your personal requirements, whether it’s collecting you from the airport, arranging lift passes, ski and boot hire with fitting in chalet, taking you to and from the lifts in our minibuses, accommodating special dietary requirements. We can do it!
I fully appreciate the importance of having a fantastic and enthusiastic team, after all, it is the team who really make your holiday a great experience, which is why I pride myself on carefully selecting a team chosen for their proven experience in hospitality and catering.
At Alpine Ethos we aim to provide a relaxed, professional and personal service in affordable, comfortable surroundings. this is reflected in our great reviews on TripAdvisor, and I strive to keep up the good work!
I and the team, look forward to welcoming you to Méribel.

Taking a well earned break from the rat race, Katie is really looking forward to spending the winter in the mountains. A really friendly, people person, Katie is really looking forward to ensuring our guests have the best ski holiday.
