All of our chalets are family friendly, and we have lots of children's equipment available including cots, folding beds, baby linen, high chairs, baby baths, baby monitors and pull along sledges.

2. Children's Menu

Our chalet chefs love cooking for children! We offer an early tea for children with child friendly recipes. We are super flexible so we can change the menu to meet the tastes of your children.

3. Shuttle minibus for tired little legs

We offer our shuttle minibus in them ornings and evenings so you do not need to worry about tired legs when getting to and from the lifts. Let us pick you up and drop you off.

4. Creche for the tiny tots

Based at the Chaudanne, ESF's Les Saturnins provides childcare for children aged 18 months to 3 years with both indoor and outdoor play activities for half days, full days or full weeks. Drop your little ones off and head straight up on the lifts in the knowledge that they are safe and having loads of fun!

5. Piou Piou Club

The ESF Club Piou Piou introduces children aged 3 - 5 years to their first experiences on skis through play and games in the ski garden at the Chaudanne in Meribel centre.

7. Ski Lessons for budding skiers

Parallel Lines Ski School offer ski safaris for children aged from 4 to 14 years old. There are mini green safaris for those aged 4 and 5, mini blue safaris for those aged 5 to 7 and snow safaris for children aged 6 to 14 where children are grouped according to ability. With a maximum group size 8 children your children will benefit from lots of attention.

8. Fun ski and snow parks dedicated to children

The Inuit piste at the Altiport in Meribel has lots of arctic themed games for all of the famliy to enjoy. Located half way down the piste is the Inuit Village, where parents can relax and watch their little ones play. Children’s entertainers lay on free games and activities here everyday.

The Yeti Park in Mottaret is also a must visit for children, here you can discover the Himalayan world of Yooni the Yeti. The wide and gentle green run has gongs, trumpets, igloos and mystery tunnels. Children will love competing on a dual slalom and exploring the Yeti’s grotto.

9. Sledging

Meribel has 2 toboggan runs to explore. Mission Black Forest is a 3km sledge run, descending 470m with 28 corners. Choose your sledge and helmet and become one of the adventurers who can save the Arbin Forest tribe! Open every afternoon.

Himalaya by night is a beautiful 2km sledging run, open in the evenings and flood lit. Fun for all the family guaranteed! Open every Thursday of the winter season and on Mondays during French school holidays.

10. Swimming, Ice-skating, Bowling, Climbing

The Olympic centre in the centre of Meribel is home to the swimming pool, climbing wall, bowling alley, ice rink, fitness centre and spa and could keep you and your children occupied for days! Great for evenings or chilly days!
